An OE error code is a drain error. It indicates that the LG washing machine cannot drain all the water out within a certain amount of time.

• Dirty Drain Pump Filter - To avoid drainage issues, it is important to regularly check and clean the drain pump filter. First, locate and open the service door on the bottom-left corner of the unit. Unclip the discharge hose and remove the cap to drain any remaining water from the wash tub. Use a small bucket to catch the excess water. Be sure to place a towel beneath the drain filter to catch any spills. Next, twist the pump filter counter-clockwise to remove it from the washer. Clean the pump filter using a soft brush and warm water.
• Drain Hose - Check behind the washer to make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. If you've removed any clogs or straightened any kinks in the drain hose, run a drain and spin cycle to confirm that the issue has been resolved.
• Faulty Drain Pump - If you hear a humming sound when the drain pump is on, and the LG washer isn't draining, it usually indicates a malfunction in the drain pump. Replacing the drain pump requires professional assistance.

If your LG dryer is not heating properly or taking a long time to dry, it could be due to one of the following reasons.

• Faulty Component - If your LG dryer is not heating, the issue might be with the thermal fuse, igniter, gas valve, or heating element. In most gas dryers, the thermal fuse commonly trips. In many cases, this fuse can be reset simply by pushing the button on its top. Electric dryers often experience issues with their heating elements or thermostats, which require professional assistance to repair.
• Clogged Vent - When an LG dryer takes a long time to dry a single load, the most common cause is a clogged vent. A blocked vent reduces air circulation and can pose a fire hazard. To ensure your dryer operates efficiently and keep your home safe, clean the vent regularly.
